The Kavalk Classic was designed specifically for a Muskoka client who felt that a new generation of Gentleman racers was necessary and we were the people to continue this elite portion of Canadian history.
This single cockpit runabout was based on the Continental's hull and included the "jump" or "mother-in -law" seat. White hulls camouflage imperfections but with the high caliber of our tooling and manufacturing, the boats were offered in dark colours which brought attention to her exceptional lines and build quality. We have nothing to hide!
The engine hatch came in mahogany and this feature finished the Classic to the last detail. Once again the Muskoka was an important area. When the now late Lieutenant Governour of Ontario the Honourable John Aird purchased one for his collection of classic Canadian Gentleman racers, the sense of accomplishment was overwhelming.

Through the late 80's and 90's, the Kavalk Classic sold worldwide and was critically acclaimed by professionals and loved by its owners. Nevertheless, by listening to clients and paying attention to trends, more was to happen with the Classic. She was reengineered to accommodate more passengers in the cockpit and to be offered with various engine packages.
The cockpit upholstery and hull colours are up to the client which brings a hands-on approach to this and the following models.

The Classic brought a lot of attention to the company, and in 1989, Mitsui of Japan came on board as a distributor. A suggestion was made to create a Sport Yacht, and the SportCruiser came to fruition...
